About Mrs. March

My name is Mrs. March and I teach 4th Grade ELA at North Hills Elementary School. I have wanted to be a teacher ever since first grade. It was my first-grade teacher who inspired me to pursue the wonderful field of teaching and it has been my passion ever since.

I grew up in Mount Joy, PA, and attended Elizabethtown Area School District. I graduated from Elizabethtown College in May 2018 with my degree in Early Childhood Education and started teaching 6th Grade at NHE that same year. This year I am so excited to switch to teaching 4th grade!

I just got married this summer and I enjoy traveling to new places, especially the National Parks! I have been to 49 states, with Alaska being the last state I need to explore. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, games, and time with friends and family. I love the Harry Potter series as well as books written by Laurie Halse Anderson. I enjoy reading historical and realistic fiction books and some picture books, too (The Day the Crayons Quit is one of my favorites!). My two favorite food groups are fruit and dessert! I also enjoy steak (extra well-done) and pulled pork.

Most of all, though, I LOVE teaching! I believe that every experience is an opportunity to learn - we are all lifelong learners!
